| The fabric is a fine grade, 100% cotton, and is dyed using high-quality Procion MX dyes. For most of my dyeing I use Hoffman PFD (prepared for dye). I have recently had requests for some fabric made with a prepared for dye muslin. This also makes a great fabric, but it has a different hand and appearance when I am finished dyeing it.
In the dyeing process, the fabric is washed and rinsed many times in hot water. This preshrinks the fabric for you. When you purchase a yard of fabric from me, I will send you a full one yard piece of fabric. |
